Silent Gliss Launches "Make it safe campaign"

Sadly over the past 18 months 5 children have died as a result of strangulation on cord drawn window treatment systems. Silent Gliss not resting on complacency, in partnership with the BBSA have joined the "Make it safe campaign". As part of this campaign Silent Gliss aim to reduce the risk of any cord operated device as much possible.

Since joining the campaign they have introduced a number of new safety products to minimise risk, while increasing safety of all their cord drawn window treatments. Steps taken include:

• All cord and chain loop products will be supplied with 0998 safety retainer.
• All corded endsets will be supplied with an 0998 safety retainer.
• Safety labels or swing tickets will be securely fastened to all products which have a cord or chain loop.
