Recessed curtain tracks are usually fitted directly into a ceiling cavity so they effectively become part of the ceiling. This hides the track from display, after all if you wanted the track on display you would choose a curtain pole, right?

Recessed tracks allows the top of the curtains to sit closer to the ceiling reducing the light gap and producing a more sleek and professional finish to your room.

The operation does not suffer because the track is fitted into a recess. In fact we have hand drawn and electric curtain tracks purpose designed for recess fitting.

Silent Gliss Launch A New Range Of Roller Blinds

Silent Gliss have launched their new small to medium roller blinds range improving an already leading set of products.

Just when you thought Silent Gliss couldn’t do any better with their roller blinds they go and release the Silent Gliss 4900, 4910 and 4960.

Struggling For Space?

These new roller blinds have been technically improved with the introduction of click-in brackets. These allow you to fit the blinds in to narrow recesses. The roller blind range has been further improved to increase their already excellent smooth blind movement and operation.

Other benefits include the introduction of side-guide option which keeps the fabric in position in case of air movement and side-by-side installation to reduce the light gap between blinds.

New Style

The 4900, 4910 and 4960 now come with a new design feature to make your roller blind that little bit more unique. Choose between round, rectangular or oval bottom bar.

The Silent Gliss 4900 roller blind is spring operated and perfect when working in multiples that all need to stop at the same height. It can be fixed to the wall, ceiling or recess fitted. Ideal for domestic or commercial use the blind has near silent operation.

4910 roller blind from Silent Gliss is a chain operated blind that offers a smooth control with silent operation. A choice of bottom bar designs to suit any design. The blind can be fitted to wall, ceiling or recess.

More choice with the Silent Gliss Metropole range

After years of continued success, Silent Gliss are pleased to present the latest additions to the Metropole Decorative Curtain Pole range.

Since its launch, Metropole has challenged the assumption that curtain tracks cannot be decorative. By combining the appearance of a decorative curtain pole with the superior functionality of its curtain tracks, Silent Gliss have allowed windows to have a designer appearance complete with a smooth gliding operation.

To ensure the continued support for the already well established range of designer curtain tracks there have been major changes to the Metropole offer.
New Metropole 6160 ? Corded 50mm System

We are delighted to introduce Metropole System 6160 a 50mm corded pole system. Following on from the successful introduction of the 50mm hand operated pole, this new cord operated option gives customers even more choice when it comes to how they want to handle their curtains.

It is available in the same 7 finishes as the hand operated option, (black, silver, white, steel grey, diva gold, oak and mahogany). It is compatible with the modern Strata finials or the traditional, real wood ball end and spears.

New Finials

Crystal Cylinder

In order to meet customer demand for contemporary coloured glass we have extended the Crystal range to include a cylinder design. Available for both 23mm and 30mm hand operated poles, in the same green, brown and black tinted glass.

Vega Midials and Holdbacks

The modern geometric shapes of Vega have been extended to include midials and holdbacks.

Pole Finishes

In order to constantly offer choice for all our customers we have replaced two of the pole finishes with new colours. Wenge and textured bronze have been discontinued and replaced with:

Cream

We are pleased to introduce a warm but subtle cream finish pole which is easy to coordinate with a range of interior colours and fabrics. It is available on 30mm poles only, hand and cord operated.

Bronze

This new classical dark bronze is an excellent traditional choice when a darker colour pole is required. Available on 30m poles only, hand and cord operated.

New Silent Gliss Venetian Blinds

With Venetian Blinds you have ultimate control over light and glare - small adjustments as the day goes on enable you to balance maximum light, visibility and comfort.

With the introduction of the new Venetian Blind Silent Gliss 8110 and 8300, Silent Gliss now offers a comprehensive Venetian blind product range.

Silent Gliss System 8100 features a narrow (21mm) headrail particularly suited to small window recesses and doors.

Silent Gliss 8110 features a unique user-friendly control wand. The new click mechanism, the slats snap into a closed position to avoid gradual reopening. Additionally, the “privacy feature” on the 25mm slat option ensures that no direct light penetration enters the room when slats are closed.

Silent Gliss 8300 features a new chain alignment for an easier and user-friendly operation of the system through special side by side chain alignment. Additionally, the new 1:3 gear ensures smooth operation. Both systems, Silent Gliss 8110 and 8300 are available for 16 and 25 mm slats.

Along with the standardised product range, we are also introducing a new slat range containing 77 slat colours which most are available for 16 and 25 mm slats. The exciting range is complemented with perforated, sand- coated and mirror slats. Additionally, some slats are thermo coated and reflect the light which reduces heat from entering the room.

Following many years of proven success in the domestic electric curtain track market with Autoglide, Silent Gliss are pleased to launch their new System 5090. Replacing systems 5070, 5080 and 5080AR, System 5090 offers all the expected benefits of the old systems.

Ease of Use: Simple opening and closing of curtains by either operating a wall switch or remote control handset. Whatever the reason, physical restrictions or just a touch of luxury, the ability to operate curtains electronically at an affordable price level is what has made Autoglide so successful over the years.

Security and Peace of Mind: When away from home the curtains can be left to open and close without the need for human intervention! Either by using the light sensor which operates with the rising and setting of the sun or by using the pre-programmable timer unit, curtains can continue to open and close even when the occupier is away from home. An excellent deterrent to intruders!

However, building on the success of the previous Autoglide systems the new Silent Gliss 5090 offers three important new customer benefits.

    The new profile can now be bent for bay window or other curved applications to a minimum radius of 250mm with a maximum of either 2 bends or one continuous curve.

New Finials

Firstly to simplify the selection process the finials, midials and holdbacks are now presented in ranges instead of the previous moods. Added to this there are 4 new ranges.

Crystal

Clear crystal glass is combined with coloured centres in black, brown or emerald green in a modern square shape. The end effect is stunning clarity and colour. They are available for both 30mm and 23mm poles in all finishes (except wood effect).

Vega

Modern geometric shapes with a sharp design engraved out of the base metal. For 30mm poles only they are produced In a dark brown base shaped as a cylinder or cube, ideal for contemporary room designs.

Coral

Fluted glass with coloured centres in red, black, cream or clear. Available for both 23mm and 30mm poles, the metal base of the finial is matched to the pole finish. The end effect is a classical and elegant look.

Pole finishes

In order to constantly offer choice for all our customers we have replaced two of the pole finishes with new colours. Wood effects teak and cherry wood have been replaced with:

Steel grey

For a contemporary feel, this metal effect pole is stunning. Eye catching shimmering colour, bright but with warm smoked grey hues.

Textured bronze

Offering a slightly more classical look, textured bronze has hints of deep red to give a rich colour. The textured painting process gives an added feel to the pole.

Silent Gliss 2320 & 2330 Roman blinds

The Silent Gliss systems 2320 and 2330 (manually operated) are remarkably elegant Roman blind systems with precision mechanisms concealed in a discreet and unobtrusive profile.

Silent Gliss has developed a unique cord release mechanism that allows detaching and re-fixing of cords within seconds. Furthermore, cords do not need to be separated from the fabric for cleaning as the cord release pins guarantee that cords stay in place during the cleaning process.

The new mechanism and the reliable Velcro tape make the maintenance of this Roman blind system as effortless as never before and with the new wind-up technique the cord will never get entangled.

Side guides for stabilizing and sloping applications are also available with this Roman blind systems. For smooth operation all systems with fabrics above 2.5kg weight are equipped with the 4:1 gear (2330).

Silent Gliss offers a wide selection of textures, colours and patterns. Customers may also select their own fabric with the systems.
